Lisboa-Dakar 2008 cancelled...

...This is due to 4 French tourists being murdered in the town of Nuachott (probably spelt wrong) which is in Mauritania. Because of this and threats from other terrorist organisations the chaps who run the Dakar, A.S.O, decided it would be in everyone's interest to cancel this years event.  I agree wholeheartedly with the decision, this only means that the event has been spoilt by people who want to hurt fellow human beings in what seems to me, a poor excuse for creating terror.
